Jack Wartell is the primary appraiser for the Antique Trader. His background includes over 35 years spent importing antiques and decorative objects from Europe. He is knowledgeable in almost every category of antiques and collectibles. He has served as an Expert Witness in numerous Colorado courts. He provides appraisals for estate, legal and insurance purposes.

Judy Boxer Wartell

Judy Boxer Wartell is a second-generation antique dealer and appraiser at the Antique Trader. Judy's father first opened The Antique Trader over 50 years ago in 1965 and it has continued to be a family owned and operated business with the addition of Judy's husband Jack who has over 35 years of experience in the industry.


Judy is also an artist and jewelry designer with a background in fine arts. She is a third generation Denver native, who has traveled the world exploring art, decorative objects, and ephemera. Judy's specialties include estate and costume jewelry, books, Native American artifacts and Asian antiques. She is a member of the International Gem Society
